Mission #22

Texas to Colorado

Pilots: Howard Turek & Mike Weimert

Handlers: Betsy & Wayne Hollan

With the summer temperatures reaching into the high 90’s here in Texas, 61 lucky Texas dogs and cats headed out on a flight to Colorado that will forever change the course of their lives. Once again, Operation Pets Alive fosters have gone above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of animals in the grossly overcrowded shelters. OPA teamed up with receiving Colorado rescues Foot Hill Animal Rescue & Two Blondes All Breed Rescue to find loving forever homes for these dogs and cats. We had total count of 61 dogs/cats on board the 37th rescue flight. It is with the continued support of dedicated fosters, volunteers and rescue organizations which allow OPA to pull at risk dogs and cats from the over crowed kill shelters here.

And as always, it is a true honor & privilege to be a part of something so PAWSOME!! 😉

**Asking how you can help PLEASE be a foster or volunteer for a rescue near you ! **
